(G-8) A King and his son

Kaiser Wilhelm II and son Crown Prince Friedrich Wilhelm III. The Crown Prince followed protocol by removing his helmet while standing next to his father, the Kaiser. It is also noticeable to see that Freidrich Wilhelm stood one step lower than his father who would otherwise have been shorter than the son. If he had not stepped lower, it would have shown that he was upstaging his father, the Kaiser and that would not have been very good etiquette.
