(N-31) King Olav V

Olav V was King of Norway from 1957 until his death. Olav was the only child of King Haakon VII of Norway and Princess Maud of England and daughter King Edward VII. Olav became heir apparent to the Norwegian throne when his father was elected King of Norway in 1905. King Olav was born on July 2, 1903, Appleton House in the United Kingdom. He died on January 17, 1991 at the Royal Lodge, Holmenkollen, Norway. His full name was Prince Alexander Edward Christian Frederik. The date of his death was January 30, 1991. His wife was Princess Märtha of Sweden. Olav and Martha were married in 1929 then she passed away on 1954. Their children were Prince Harald V of Norway, Princess Astrid, Mrs. Ferner, Princess Ragnhild, Mrs. Lorentzen.
