(AA-4) Crown Prince

Rudolf, Crown Prince of Austria was the only son and third child of Emperor Franz Joseph I and Elisabeth of Bavaria. He was heir apparent to the throne of Austria-Hungary Empire from birth. In 1889, he died in a suicide pact with his mistress, Baroness Mary Vetsera, at the Mayerling hunting lodge. He was born on August 21, 1858, Laxenburg castles, Austria. He died on January 30, 1889, Mayerling, Austria. Full name: Rudolph Francis Charles Joseph. His wife was Princess Stéphanie of Belgium. They were married 1881. They had one child by name of Archduchess Elisabeth Marie of Austria.
