(AA-6) Empress Elisabeth

Empress Elisabeth of Austria was Empress of Austria and Queen of Hungary by marriage to Emperor Franz Joseph I. Elisabeth was born into the royal Bavarian House of Wittelsbach. Nicknamed "Sisi", she enjoyed an informal upbringing before marrying Emperor Franz Joseph I at the age of sixteen. The Empress was born on Decemember 24, 1837 in Munich, Germany. Her full names were Elisabeth Amalie Eugenie. They married in the year 1854 and she died in 1898 when she was assassinated. The children she bore were Rudolf, the crown prince of Austira and her siblings were Duchess Helene of Bavaria.
