(DD-14) Stylish Queen

(DD-14) Stylish Queen - Dutch Royals
Queen Beatrix is seen here in very colorful outfit. Beatrix is the eldest child of 3 girls born to Queen Juliana and Prince Bernhard. During the Second World War, the three sisters spent a good deal of time living in Ottawa, Canada as a means of protection from the enemy. In response to this favor that the Canadians granted Queen Juliana to do this, the queen gave the Canadian government many thousands of tulip bulbs. Today, we can still see the many thousands of varieties of tulip bulbs beautifying the grounds of Canada's national capital buildings, the House of Parliament.
