(F-3) King Charles X

Charles X was King of France from 16 September 1824 until 2 August 1830. For most of his life he was known as the Count of Artois. An uncle of the uncrowned Louis XVII and younger brother to reigning kings Louis XVI and Louis XVIII, he supported the latter in exile. Born: October 9, 1757, Palace of Versailles, Versailles, France He Died: November 6, 1836, Gorizia, Italy. His Coronation was 29 May 1825; Reims Cathedral. He was married to Maria Theresa of Savoy (m. 1773–1805). They had the following children: Louis Antoine, Duke of Angoulême, and others.
