(G-6) King Constantine I

King Constantine I was King of Greece from 1913 to 1917 and from 1920 to 1922. He was commander-in-chief of the Hellenic Army during the unsuccessful Greco-Turkish War of 1897 and led the Greek forces during World War I. He was born August 2, 1868, Athens, Greece. He died on January 11, 1923, Palermo, Italy. He reigned from 18 March 1913 – 11 June 1917. His wife was Princess Sophia of Prussia (m. 1889–1923). The Children were George II of Greece, Paul of Greece. His siblings Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark, who was the father of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh in England.
