(G-7) Alexander I

Alexander I was King of Greece from 11 June 1917 until his death three years later, at the age of 27, from the effects of a monkey bite. The second son of King Constantine I, Alexander was born in the summer palace of Tatoi on the outskirts of Athens. He was born August 1, 1893, Tatoi Palace, Greece. He died October 25, 1920, Athens, Greece. He was married to Aspasia Manos (m. 1919–1920). Their marriage was short-lived due to a bite from a monkey. They had one child Alexandra of Yugoslavia. Alexander’s siblings were George II of Greece, Paul of Greece.
