(JA-15) Emperor Surrenders

Following the signing of the cease fire and the Declaration of Surrender, His Imperial Majesty Emperor Hirohito, behind a bullet-proof glass, raises his right hand and verbally declares to the people of Japan that he as the most high leader of the Japanese royal dynasty surrenders all of his forces to lay down arms and agree to cooperate and surrender all supreme powers against the Allied Forces. With that declaration the supremacy and divine being of the Dynasty was no longer. This certainly must have been a very demeaning and mortifying admission for the emperor to make to the people. And for the people, too, it must have been humiliating to see their god-head leader to make these admissions.
