(JA-42) Emperor Showa (Hirohito)

Emperor Hirohito and the Empress Kojun immediately following the Second World War and his surrender to the Allied Forces lived a very frugal and simpler life style. He remained very somber and stoic rarely showing himself in any public appearance. With accession to the Japanese Throne of his son Prince Achihito whom we shall soon meet visually, we will see an entirely different monarchy.
