R-50 Last Photo of the Czar

R-50 Last Photo of the Czar - Russian Royals
This photograph is believed to be the last known picture of Czar Nicholas II. It is further suggested that the Czar never doubted his “people” in their loyalty. He always assured his wife that they would not bring any harm to him or his family. The Czar and his family were guarded night and day by a contingent of 300 Red Army soldiers; while 3 soldiers were posted to stay with the Czar and watch his every move. At times these fellows would attempt to make a “hit” with the princesses, but the Czar would always intervene and tell his daughters get inside the quarters and stay with their mother, the Queen. As we can see in this photo that he was showing signs of stress and anxiety. Even though he believed in his people, the Red Army was plotting plans for the Romanov royals. At last the Czar's throne was a tree stump as we see in this parting picture.
