(R-126) Russian Royal Family-painting

(R-126) Russian Royal Family-painting - Russian Royals
This painting of the Imperial Royal Family of Russia was painted approximately two years before the family was shot. As one can see from this painting that Prince Alexei was the central focus. He frequently held center stage because he was the younger child, but more than that, due to his illness, he was pampered by the rest of the family. It was noted by some historians, that Prince Alexei was a visionary child. He had some unusual qualities of being prophetic. It was said that at one point near the end of the family's existence, he was to have had a dream about their future in which he saw much blood flowing and disaster.
